1.活動/課程名稱：國際菁英人才拔尖養成計畫(新生班)
2.子計畫名稱：T1-1-1-4-2 國際溝通菁英培訓
3. 活動/課程主旨：全方位培訓各系所優秀學生之英文聽、說、讀、寫能力外，並提升跨文化意識與涵養，成為一位同時具備專業能力與多元文化素養之國際亮點人才。

5.活動/課程時間：每周二 1.2節、週三 8.9節、週四 8.9節

7.甄選時間：9月11日(三) – 9月13日(五)/第二階段:9月20日(五)及9月23日(一)
8.活動/課程地點：語言中心專業教室與一般教室

10.參加對象：有意願參加交換生計畫或申請雙聯學位計畫之研究生或大學部113/112/111學籍生。
11.活動/課程規劃：
本課程循序漸進，第一階段「實力培養學年課程」以訓練學生英文之聽、說、讀、寫四項能力，續接第二階段「能力精熟暑期密集課程」強化學生英文四項能力，以國外英檢模擬測驗掌握學生學習成效並參加國外正式英文檢定，另於第三階段規劃「跨文化意識涵養微課程」滋養國際人文觀，成為吸引優秀學生的亮點課程。
(1)實力培養學年課程-菁英英文(第一階段)：
每週上課6小時，上下學期共計36週上課，課程規畫聽力閱讀課程、口說課程、寫作課程，規畫如下：
a.聽力閱讀課程，每週2小時，上下學期共計72小時。
b.口說課程，每週2小時，上下學期共計72小時。
c.寫作課程，每週2小時，上下學期共計72小時。
d.舉辦IELTS模擬測驗，上下學期共兩次。
e.參加IELTS官方正式考試。
(2)能力精熟暑期密集課程-雅思衝刺班(第二階段)：
每天6小時，每週5天，共計3週上課，課程規劃聽力口說、閱讀、寫作密集課程，規畫如下：
a.聽力課程，共24小時。
b.口說課程，共18小時。
c.閱讀課程，共21小時。
d.寫作課程，共27小時。
(3) 跨文化意識涵養微課程(第三階段)：
規劃36小時跨文化意識系列微課程(含講座)，主題包括全球議題、人文關懷、溝通能力(Toastmasters)等，增加學生國際視野與培養國際人文觀。
12. 活動/課程執行方式：
(1)開設三階段英文培訓課程，「實力培養學年課程」、「能力精熟暑期密集課程」與「跨文化意識涵養微課程」。
(2) 舉辦IELTS模擬考試，提升學生應試技巧與能力。
(3) 建立小組讀書會，養成自主學習能力。
(4) 參加IELTS正式考試，達成海外姊妹校就學英檢成績。
(5) 設置導師制度主動關心並協助英文學習問題。
(6) 甄選方式：英文筆試，佔50%，英文口試，佔50%。
(7) 招生名額：30名。
13. 備註：
(1)課程規範
a.參加學生須完成三階段培訓課程。
b.第一與第二階段課程成績不得低於60分，第三階段課程則須至少完成36小時，使得獲得結業證書。
c.須參加IELTS模擬考試兩次與IELTS正式官方考試一次。
d.須繳交IELTS考試費用6,300元與Toastmasters國際演講會員費用5,000元，一共11,300元。

(2) 課程獎勵
a.參加第一與第二階段課程成績均達60分以上，可替代大一生活英文與大二職場英文共8學分。
b.完成三階段課程者，可獲得菁英英文微學程證書一只。
c. IELTS正式考試達標，可獲校友服務暨職涯發展處 - 職涯發展組證照補助獎勵。
d.Toastmasters會員補助費1000元。
e.完成三階段課程者，可優先獲得「朝陽千人出國計畫」補助。
f. 完成三階段課程者，可申請「菁英英文微學程」。
2024 Fly Young Honors Program
Purpose of Program:
Comprehensive training of outstanding students from various departments in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while enhancing cross-cultural awareness and cultivation to become internationally prominent talents with both professional ability and multicultural literacy.
Program Period: Every Tuesday, periods 1 and 2; Wednesday, periods 8 and 9; Thursday, periods 8 and 9.
Registration Deadline: September 10 (Tuesday)
Selection Time: September 11 (Wednesday) – September 13 (Friday)
Organizer: Language Center
Participants: Graduate or undergraduate students are interested in participating in exchange programs or applying for dual-degree programs.
Program Planning:
The Fly Young Honors Program includes three courses:
a.Elite English Course: Trains students in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This course includes a 72-hour listening & reading module, a 72-hour speaking module, and a 72-hour writing module for an academic year. Every mock exam will take place at the end of each semester.
b.Intensive Summer Course: Strengthens the four English skills through intensive training and prepares students for the IELTS test. The 90-hour intensive summer course starts on the first day of the summer vacation and lasts for three weeks. Every student must participate in the official IELTS test after the summer course.
c.Toastmasters Public Speaking Micro-Course: Enhances students' public speaking skills.
Execution of Program:
a.Three-Stage English Training Courses: Including "Elite English Course" for four skills development," "Intensive Summer Course" for test skills, and "Toastmasters Public Speaking Micro-Course" for public speaking enhancement.
b. IELTS Mock Exams: To give students more practice before the office exam.
c. Study Groups: To establish study groups to cultivate a reading culture.
d. Official IELTS Exam: To meet the English proficiency requirements for studying at overseas sister schools.
e. Mentor System: To actively assist with English learning issues.
f. Admission Requirements: The tests include a reading & listening test and an oral test.
Number of Enrollment: 30
Course Requirements:
a.Students must complete all three courses and can be issued a certificate of the Elite English Micro Program.
b. Participation in two IELTS mock exams and one official IELTS exam is mandatory.
c. The IELTS exam fee of 6300 NTD and Toastmasters membership fee of 5000 NTD must be paid, totaling 11300 NTD.

Course Rewards:
a. Elite English Course can replace eight credits of Freshman English and Workplace English.
b. Completing all three courses awards a certificate from the Elite English Micro Program.
c. Non-English majors who pass the IELTS average band 5.5 or English majors who pass the IELTS average band 6.5 can earn subsidies from the CYUT Alumni Services and Career Development Office.
d.The subsidy of Toastmasters membership is 1000 NTD.
e.Priority for the "Chaoyang Thousand People Abroad Program" subsidy upon completion of all three courses
